REC is a Television/Web show that covers all aspect of the Jamaican Real Estate scene, the show is broken down into sections to give viewers a very comprehensive look at buying, renting or selling property or land. We Also do real life renovations to your home and include it on the show!
The various segments are:
1) The Flipper
Essential Construction Works goes in and renovates a home prior to rent or sale. A representative from Essential explains the process and the viewers are able to see the property before and after as well as the process leading up to its completion. We will hear from the potential buyer/renter after the property has been renovated and we will not only see the property after the renovations but also after the occupant has moved in.
2) Legal Matters
A legal representative explains to viewers the importance of proper legal representation before the purchase of any property, a factor that is often neglected by first time buyers which nine out of ten times leads to large problems and great frustration. This segment will be presented in both an informative as well as entertaining way in an effort to educate as well as keep the attention of the audience.
3) The Engineer
Here is where we hear from a qualified engineer who explains the importance of having inspections done on the property before purchasing or renting. This section will be coupled with clips of persons viewing properties for potential sale and examples of proper structures as well as faulty ones.
4) Home Seekers
In this section we see an actual realtor take persons on a tour of potential homes, as the potential buyers/renters pick choose and refuse properties. Here we will also get an understanding of the ways in which professional real estate agents should conduct themselves, giving advice, tips and guidelines to potential buyers/rentals as well as having thorough knowledge of the property before the actual tour, an element that is sadly lacking in Jamaican realtors today.
